Originally licensed in March of 2007, Douglas Massi was recruited to sell Life Insurance through the Hartford. Having specialized life insurance products for several years, it became apparent that this was a very important and necessary product to all. With life insurance, one could secure certain freedoms for their families.

In 2012 Mr Massi made the decision to concentrate on the Florida senior market, primarily due to rising cost of burial and cremation. These small whole life policies make it possible for folks with a limited income to be able to afford, and pay for their own funerals.​ This would take the burden away from the family.

In 2014 Mariana Tirante and Douglas Massi incorporated United Final Expense Services, Inc. Today UFES is a small, award winning, family agency, that serves Florida.
